The Saskatchewan Waterloo Games User Research Training Program
Design high-quality methods and measures to answer questions about human behaviour in games.
Games User Reseach (GUR) is a core part of game development, which helps games reach their design goals by observing and understanding players.
The Saskatchewan-Waterloo Games User Research (SWaGUR) program is the first of its kind in Canada. This project brings together a team of world-leading games researchers with backgrounds in science, engineering, social sciences, and humanities. The interdisciplinary program will give you the knowledge and experience you need to become a games user researcher.
This program offers courses taught by leading games user researchers, which will provide you with fundamental GUR knowledge.
We collaborate with industry partners to give you the opportunity to find an internship that prepares you for a career in GUR.
You will gain an interdisciplinary education that will enable you to work and communicate across different knowledge domains.
